The existing cabinet fit with the style of this Craftsman style home, however they had seen better days. The doors of the sink and cooktop cabinets were badly damaged. The homeowners wanted to stay with the style of their home while eliminating crumb ledges. To achieve this they went with slab drawer front and the Amesbury door. The Amesbury door features a shallow recessed center panel, so there is less of an edge for crumbs. For added detail we added decorative panels on the cabinet ends and replaced the panel on the peninsula. To add a little more substance to the look they went with larger black hardware and cast iron bracket to support the peninsula top.
