Featured Project: A rustic home gets updated with modern products, but keeps it's rustic feel.
Highlights:
- This home is in a rustic setting overlooking a lake in rural Pacific, MO.
- Throughout the home is rustic decor, but they wanted to update and brighten the kitchen in an economical way.
- We chose modern cabinet materials that are economical and durable:
- Direct Laminate Veneer (DLV) in a cadet gray shaker style was selected for the cabinets. It updates the style from the dated cathedral oak cabinets, and definitely brightens the room.
- The island is Thermally Structured Surface (TSS) material with a cypress wood grain pattern.
- Both materials are man-made construction using vinyl wrapped or pressed materials to engineer a highly durable material, but at a favorable price point over wood doors.
- The replicated wood pattern is a stylish way to keep a rustic feel that fits the space and home's overall decor, while the solid grey cabinets accent the flooring and backsplash.
