This delightful kitchen in the St. Louis Hills neighborhood just needed a bit of extra storage and a few tweaks. With worn-out laminate, an unused microwave cabinet, and a wobbly block of wood above the microwave hood, we stepped in to help. We added a face frame and door over the microwave hood and extended the doors over the microwave cabinet. By removing the center stile between two narrow drawers, we created one spacious drawer. On the wall opposite the kitchen, there were wall cabinets with nothing below, so we installed pantries for a more grounded, complete look and plenty of extra storage.
